heart and has made the choice to live free from sin.
To make this choice you must:
First see yourself as sinner: Isaiah 6:5
Next, have faith in God: Hebrews 11:6
You must then confess your sins: 1 John 1:9, Proverbs 28:13
Then, call upon the Lord in prayer: Romans 10:13
Next, accept Christ as your only Savior: Acts 4:12
Finally, believe in your heart that you are forgiven and saved: Romans 10:9, 10
A prayer for salvation:
“Dear Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner. I confess my sins to you, and invite you to
live and reign in my heart. I ask you to be Lord of my life and help me each
day to be more like you.
Thank you for forgiving me of my sins by dying on the cross. Amen”
The steps to salvation are easy; the prayer is a simple prayer of
confession and forgiveness because Jesus did not make it difficult
for us to receive a free gift.
There are no books to sign and no churches to join. If you have
followed these steps and prayed a prayer of confession then you are now
a Christian, a part of the family of God. Welcome!
